The original concept was dreamed up a long time ago and focused on baseball. Many years later this became a reality as we bought an expansion arena football team in the IFL, and let our fans call the shots. Then we turned it into a full-fledged interactive league Fan Controlled Football Season v1.0 in early 2021 exclusively streaming on Twitch with a Seed Round led by Lighstpeed Ventures and Verizon Ventures, as well as a mix of celebrity team owners including Quavo, Richard Sherman and Marshawn Lynch and former NFL players Johnny Manziel and Josh Gordon taking the field. Based on the early success we raised our Series A round, expanded to eight teams, launched an awesome web3 project with our community of die hard fans, built the most bad ass venue in pro sports, signed Hall of Famer Terrell Owens and continued to scale with FCF Season v2.0 in 2022.
