Led a research project to develop a fast, low-cost, x-ray scintillator for use in fusion plasma diagnostics. Analyzed optical and in-situ plume diagnostics for use in magnetically shielded hall-effect thrusters. Built a radio telescope to study interstellar hydrogen and black hole mergers. Optimized chemical manufacturing processes for scanning electron microscope (STM) tips. Led a research project to develop a fast, low-cost, x-ray scintillator for use in fusion plasma diagnostics. Developed an optical plasma diagnostic system to perform specially resolved spectroscopy on a linear plasma railgun. This system was used to determine the spacial distribution of ion and impurity species in the plasma.
