  For the placement aspect of my Victimology program at Durham College, I spent the 2nd semester working with the VWAP group in Peterborough, Ontario. During this time, I sat in on many court cases and experienced the role Victim Support Workers have in providing for victims of crime. I also worked on the administration side of things, by viewing new cases that arrived for the day, and by inputting them into the system used to track upcoming court appearances. I was also given the privilege of helping organize the Attorney General Awards and also by attending the ceremony.
