I provided news coverage for the magazine's website over a week's work experience, working both from the office and reporting from the field, one of which was the most read news story of that day. I also took and edited photos for the publication's annual Young Adult Fiction Prize, compiled into a gallery online. I have subsequently been asked back to provide paid cover shifts on the news desk on a freelance basis. I reviewed 6-8 bands per day, filing copy to a 2am deadline for publication the next morning. Show less
