I currently work for Brite, which offers a Managed Security Service. My most common task during the work day is security alert analysis. I collaborate with other analysts as needed, and if necessary, I reach out to tenants to relay important information. I always take great care to provide as much helpful information as possible, whether in an escalation or in case closing notes. One of my favorite projects I worked on was a firewall deployment for a new tenant, whose business had multiple locations. We also needed to convert existing configurations so they could work with a different firewall vendor. Other responsibilities include firewall rule assessments and applying tunings to our XDR solution. When large profile threats come in, I participate in threat hunting exercises with our team. During this term of employment, I obtained several of Tenable’s sales associate and sales engineer training certifications and n8n's Level 1 certification. I started as a Co-Op and was promoted to a Level I Analyst in June 2022. Show less
