Plan and implement advertising tactics for the organization’s programs, membership categories and facility rental. **Organized the first-ever national genre-specific feature spread in US Airways Magazine (August 2014), highlighting opera activity in the U.S. This effort yielded a 33-page spread, representing a $108,000 media buy. **Managed outside consultant and agency rebranding and publicity activities surrounding the opening of OPERA America’s National Opera Center facility in September 2012. **Created the organization’s first Marketing/PR Benchmarking Survey, analyze responses, design and publish report annually. **Launched annual National Opera Week in 2009 to increase awareness of opera and opera companies and to communicate the impact of opera on a national scale and in local communities. Engaged Honorary Chairs (including Aretha Franklin, David Hyde Pierce and Isaac Mizrahi), producing video statements that reached thousands of potential opera audiences.
