  I was responsible for providing grant development and facilitation to over 25 research faculty members and their graduate students, as well as for the collection, monitoring, reporting and dissemination of information relating to the School's research and scholarship activities.- Identified relevant research funding opportunities from local, provincial, national and international agencies and organizations, and ensured faculty members were kept apprised of these opportunities- Assisted researchers in developing and transforming ideas into grant proposals- Facilitated and coordinated the preparation of grant and award applications, including reviewing, editing, and compiling the required documents- Maintained up-to-date knowledge relevant to grant and award competitions and advised researchers on regulatory requirements - Developed a Research Metrics Plan for the tracking and reporting of annual research and scholarship metrics for the School of Nursing- Coordinated the School’s annual Marion Woodward Lecture, including a panel symposium and evening invited keynote speaker; as well, organize monthly professional development workshops and scholarly presentations- Gathered and disseminated information on the School's research and scholarship activities through formal reports, a monthly e-newsletter and on the School website- Recruited and supervised Work-Learn Program students to support the research and scholarship portfolio
