Real Estate Valuation Analyst III
-
Jun 2020 - Dec 2022
Daily, I reviewed the department workload and identified the priority reports to review. I assisted my team lead on delegating team members to take care of the priority reports to meet product service level agreements with customers. I completed complex analysis on all appraisal form types where I would identify any inconsistencies or errors. This also included purchase contract analysis to confirm the correct information was provided in the appraisals. I trained all new hires on our internal review system. I provided advice and guidance on appraisal methodology based on my knowledge. I ensured that all team members were reviewing with excellent quality. I also conducted review audits with customers where I would show my review process and answer questions. This ensured that we were meeting customer expectations and that we would pass the audit process. I also conducted data analysis on client revision trends to conduct improvement projects. I would present my ideas and updates to upper management on a weekly basis. I also worked closely with my department manager with updating vendor letter of engagements and templates based on new customer expectations. These changes affected the entire appraisal department. I excelled with customer service answering appraiser phone calls regarding methodology and uploading reports. I answered all questions fully and referenced appraisal methodology. I sent emails and links to the specific methodology for the appraisers as well. Show less

Real Estate Valuation Analyst II

Jul 2018 - Jun 2020
Daily, I reviewed escalated and complex residential appraisals to meet state/client expectations. I studied and learned appraisal methodology such as FNMA, USPAP, and ANSI. I used this methodology during my analysis to identify errors or missing requirements in the appraisals. The appraisals contained non-private/confidential information. I dealt with this information with tact. I was also mentoring and training team members on new client expectations and form types. I managed the appraisal queue and multiple job assignments. I excelled with customer service answering appraiser phone calls regarding methodology and uploading reports. I made sure that all questions were answered fully and referenced appraisal methodology. I would follow up with emails and links to the specific methodology for the appraisers as well. Show less

Real Estate Valuation Analyst I
-
Mar 2017 - Jul 2018
I reviewed less complex appraisal reports as I learned the varying form types and methodology. I worked with my fellow team members to analyze and approve reports. I followed up on my appraisal clarifications through emails and phone calls with the appraisers. I answered over 30 vendor phone calls a day regarding appraisal questions and hard stops. I would determine solutions to problems and efficiently communicate them to the vendors. I collaborated with the senior staff appraisers on more complex topics and learned how to deal with them in the future. I lent time to other departments to help the entire company to meet client goals. During this time, I would analyze PCIs, BPOs, and other forms. I also assisted the Vice President of Sales with a marketing project through analyzing sales data. I organized this on Google Sheets to help the Sales department identify sales opportunities.
