My main focus is providing valuable guidance and mentorship to current DevEng students, assisting them in their innovation projects, and supporting the smooth transition of incoming DevEng admits to UC Berkeley. This exciting opportunity allows me to make a significant impact on the next generation of innovators and social entrepreneurs, all dedicated to sustainable development in developing economies. Key Responsibilities 1. Student Mentorship: Providing guidance and support to current DevEng students, drawing from my experience as a Big Ideas winner and relevant expertise, to help them achieve their innovation project goals. Program Continuity: Collaborating with the Development Engineering program team to ensure seamless continuity of events and opportunities for DevEng students across cohorts, organizing workshops and networking events to enrich their experiences. 2. Transition Support: Assisting newly admitted DevEng students in their transition to UC Berkeley, offering resources and orientation sessions to ease their integration into the program. 3. Alumni Engagement: Cultivating and maintaining connections with DevEng alumni to enhance the program's impact and support current students' initiatives. 4. Collaboration and Outreach: Collaborating with various stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and external partners, to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and create opportunities for students to engage with the broader innovation and development community.
