  Served as editor of The Union Recorder, overseeing a staff of news and sports reporters and one photographer. Also over the production of The Lake Oconee Breeze, a weekly publication that targeted the Lake Oconee area of Putnam County. Worked closely with circulation and advertising to market the newspaper. One of my biggest projects while there was A Pictorial History of Baldwin County, which involved the collection of old photographs, scanning them into the system and providing the layout to the company that produced it. One of the highlights was when the book was published and a man was so thrilled with it that he insisted he meet the person who put it all together. Then he asked for my autograph, which I happily provided. I was there when 9/11 happened and must say I worked with some of the finest journalists on the planet.
