I am an independent contractor working for the Bear Public Library to provide a weekly children’s story time program on Tuesday evenings. Each week I create a brand new story time program which includes art projects related to the featured book designed to engage children of varying ages and promote literacy. Accomplishments: When I began my literacy program there were only a handful of children attending each week. Within three months the number of attendees doubled. Within a year we were regularly at our full capacity number of thirty children and remain at or near capacity today. Show less
