I teach all chemotherapy courses to staff, assist with Oncology patients when needed, do Palliative Care consults, do all teaching of new staff on pain management and central lines, develop policies and procedures on central lines, trouble shoot on all problematic central lines, presentations to the public on cancer prevention, etc, and am responsible for Commission on Cancer accreditation. I recently became board certified in vascular access and am currently on the speaker's bureau for Eli Lilly.I recently restarted our Ethics Committee and do education on end of life issues with staff and for the public.
