Rarely do student interns come with as much drive as Trish. As our team’s Coordinated Entry Specialist/ Jack of All Trades/ Master’s Student Intern she effortlessly juggles reporting, outreach, and research for the Street Outreach Program. One of her strengths is to build systems that allow the program to submit detailed narrative reports to grantors. During a new grant submission, Trish worked jointly with the Outreach Manager and other teammates to collect stories from the field about the impact of the Outreach program. Her actions helped ensure that the grant submission was complete, on time, and that the hard work of the team was accurately reflected. But her strengths go far beyond tracking grant metrics. She proves her drive by going out of her way to build meaningful relationships with clients that result in the clients moving towards permanent, stable housing. She has the rare combination of caring deeply for clients while balancing other programmatic needs. I am particularly impressed with Trish’s ability to work collaboratively under arduous circumstances; she always seems to remain focused on the mission no matter how chaotic the current crisis.
