  The MLSE LaunchPad is a free and accessible space for youth across the downtown core to engage in sports as tool for development! The Youth Advisory Council is a group of 10 young adults from across the GTA who have a love for sports, community, development and activism. As the secretary of the YAC, I work alongside my team to plan events, participate in research and engage with the youth and staff in the space. In my final year, I had the honour of serving over 7000 students as the President of Vanier College Council! During my time in this position, I was responsible for planning and overseeing Orientation Week, oversaw all financial procedures, managed a team of 20 student leaders, participated in all aspects of student life and most importantly was a voice for the student body - bridging the gap between students and administration! In addition, I had the pleasure of meeting with the Dean of the faculty to express the needs, interests and concerns of student leaders, on behalf of the student body!
