Pat is so friendly to everyone and one of most talented art lead I'd ever worked with and I wish to continue to work with. His skill sets and expertise of project are so warranted that made him being id artist here in so many years. I sincerely recommend Pat Duffy as excellent game art lead.

It's hard to find one of those artist who can literally do it all. Pat is no doubt one of those rare gems. Along with ui, characters, textures, props, and environments, Pat also has an exceptional eye and lighting which is where we mostly worked together. It's nice to get direction that not only puts you back on track, but helps you think outside the box and escape linear though patterns. Pat is an amazing artist and manager, and a great personality for the culture of the studio.

I'm always on the lookout for exceptional UI talent, feel free to contact me if you are looking! 2009-2012 Lead Artist During the buildup of new internal teams my primary responsibilities were: • Defining art team structure. • Reviewing candidates, interviewing, and hiring artists to the team. • Cultivating and maintaining a healthy team culture. • Defining and scheduling art development pipeline and tasking. • Day to day management of a 25+ person team. • Assist in art direction for weapons and characters. • Identify, review, and budget outsource candidates. • Daily management of outsource development. • Provide feedback and direction for assets. 2007-2008 Lead Artist - QuakeLive My responsibilities included mapping out the user experience, defining the visual language for the project, design and management of the website style and brand identity creation, creating new character and level art, and hiring and management of new artists and outsource partners. 2005-2007 Senior Artist - Rage My work for Rage shifted from UI to in-game art, with a focus on character textures. 2005 UI Artist - Doom 3: Xbox, Quake 4, Quakewars I provided technical UI support for Doom 3 Xbox and Quake 4, and provided interface layout and visual style explorations for Enemy Territory:Quake Wars. 2002-2004 UI Artist - Doom 3 After completing the storyboards for Doom 3 I joined id Software as the company's UI Artist. My responsibilities included defining the visual style for the menus and in-game interactive surfaces, and generating all of the art and code for the UI content. 2001 Contract storyboard artist.
