Over three years I had the opportunity to work within DIT’s Staff Training & Development Dept. I worked on various projects such as ‘Design a process for obtaining accreditation for staff training & development programmes’. As part of the project I researched the accreditation process within DIT. A fundamental part of my degree was to gain work experience within the field of HR which I carried out within this dept. In my most recent placement I was able to bring the new Staff Handbook to completion. Some of the projects that I was involved in were: • Updating the staff handbook • Reviewing the induction process within DIT• Reviewing the website
