Bio

I had the great pleasure of working with Pat for two years and see her transform the Early Childhood Center and integrate the arts throughout units. Pat’s room used many Reggio elements and she modeled integrated practice throughout the day. Pat modeled her creative approaches to her colleagues and offered professional development to teachers throughout the Central American region. She is a supportive colleague and brings a positive spirit to a school. Her sense of humor and professional attitude will be an asset to any future school.

Pat has an infectious energy that makes her a pleasure to work with and to be around. She's creative, innovative and not afraid of taking on multiple challenges at the same time. You'd be lucky to have her on your team.

I have been active with Young Audiences, Arts for Learning, in my work as a professional teaching artist, since 2004. I met Pat Cruz in September of 2005 when she joined the Young Audiences team. She brought high energy and a strong vision for cirriculum integrated arts in Maryland schools. Pat works tirelessly in support of her organization, the artists that they represent and the school community. I have also worked with Pat at the Maryland Artists Teacher Institute which was a very positive experience for me. I high;y recommend Pat Cruz as a highly qualified art ed professional and activist. Thanks Pat for all you do.
