I am a pastor of a parish numbering around 275 people. My primary work is to bring Christ Jesus and His gifts to these people. They are sons and daughters of the Father in heaven through the work of the Holy Spirit. I would do most anything for them. That said, I am here to serve them these gifts that they might have the forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation. I am also interested in doing the same for anyone who might have interest in Christ or questions about Him, His Word, and His Church who may not be a Christian or has fallen away over the years. I preach and teach the Bible to young and old, specifically try to aid young families, visit in the hospital and the nursing homes, lead chapels for our Early Childhood, encourage wherever I might be able not with any particular wisdom of my own, but with God's Word. I perform baptisms, weddings, and funerals. I forgive sins in Christ's stead and by His command. We follow the Church Year, and stand in the long line of Christians that have come before and after Christ's birth in trusting in Him to save. We do not try to redefine or make Christ more relevant. He does not need our help. With that in mind we are a "traditional" parish, that emphasizes and brings to you what we believe to be the best of historic worship. We do not aim to entertain you, or place emotions above God's gifts, but simply aim to be faithful in delivering God's Word and the Sacraments. I have a number of children so am particularly interested in family, and our parish is that to one another, enjoying one another and striving together to keep this faith by God's grace. Show less
