We believe the future of service industries is to deliver emotionally rewarding customer experiences that are powered by transparent technology and processes. Through understanding customer preferences, companies have the opportunity to delight customers. And a delighted customer is a loyal one. As part of the VC's incubation group, my role comprised an end-to-end Research & Innovation approach focussing on the future of digital entertainment and personal data. These are the key parts of the process that I directed: 1: Research & Discovery: Through a review of academic research, marketing trends, industry reports, and expert commentary, the process of Research & Discovery is ongoing and aims to focus and expand areas of potential innovation and growth for the WPSChallenger Group. 2: Concept Creation: Once a focus area has been defined, potential concepts are generated and evaluated for further steps in the process. This includes analyzing the consumer value proposition and general assessment of market potential. 3: Concept Development: The concept is developed in more detail, looking closely at features, benefits, and business models, resulting in a functional specification, which can be paired with a technical specification working closely with the Challenger technology department. 4: Concept Prototyping & Testing: Functional prototypes are developed for most concepts for the purpose of demonstration and consumer testing. Through this process, user experience and functionality may be checked and fed back to the Concept Development stage for further improvements. Show less

Our focus is on coupling new mobile technologies (i.e. Smartphones/Symbian/S60) with innovative content-based concepts to create entertaining and innovative new mobile experiences. Show less
