This project is funded by the African Development Bank through Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA). • Assistant Road Safety Engineer for the Consultancy services for feasibility study, environmental and social impact assessment, resettlement action plan, preliminary and detail engineering design of Marua – Nanyuki -Lewa Road (100km) Project. This project is funded by the African Development Bank through Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA). • Assistant Civil Engineer for the Civil and Structural design of the USIU School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Consultancy Services for 140MW Olkaria V geothermal power plant. • CAD Technician/Assistant Drainage Engineer for the Proposal for design, build, finance, operate, maintenance, and transfer Nairobi – Nakuru -Mau Summit Highway, Public Private Partnership (PPP) Project. • Project Coordinator for the following projects; Technical Advisory Services for the Privately Initiated PPP Proposal for the Lamu-Garissa-Isiolo Road and the Consultancy Services for Feasibility Study and Detailed Engineering Design of Selected National Roads (Lot 4: Katunguru - Ishasha Road (88km)). My responsibilities included; • Carrying out geotechnical survey of potential greenfield sites and structural survey of potential rooftop sites for assessing suitability for Safaricom telecommunications base stations. • Using AutoCAD software to produce planning and as-built drawings for Safaricom greenfield and rooftop sites. • Compiling planning drawings, as-built drawings and site acquisition documents for binders to be submitted to the Client. • Working with sub-contractors to ensure quality standards are met and checking progress on site with supervisors during site construction. • Attending progress meetings with the Client regarding small cell, rooftop and greenfield sites. • Supervision of site construction. • Conducting internal site acceptance before handing over the site to the Client. Achievements: I was involved in site reconnaissance, production of drawings and/or site supervision of 56 greenfield sites, 12 rooftop sites and 7 small cell sites. Show less
