Pascal's knowledge on algorithms and machine-learning techniques allowed him to take on even very complex research tasks and actively provide input and challenge experienced scientists. This is a very rare quality in a student research assistant and was greatly appreciated.

Elite sailing requires a variety of analytical skills such as fast decision making and risk management. The pursuit of becoming a world-class athlete taught me several valuable lessons for my later career: strategy planning and deep focus to reach my goals, finding the right mentors & coaches, attracting sponsors/funding, learning from your failures and relationship to competitors etc. High motivation and hard work in training are essential. Optimizing every parameter without losing the big picture is paramount for success. Team Danmark high-school athlete and part of the Youth National Sailing Team. Best results included : - Bronze at the Youth World Championships for Laser dinghy (first medal in Danish history) - Gold at Youth European Championships for Europe dinghy. Show less
