I've had the privilege of knowing Pascal for 10 years now since he first came to South Africa. He is an incredibly smart, savvy professional with several years of experience in multiple industries worldwide. But his true passion and calling towards impact investing and scaling of impact-driven entrepreneurs in the healthcare sector across Africa is where I am certain he will leave the biggest mark yet in his long, illustrious career. Starting a company in the field Primary Health Care myself, I appreciate his appetite for risk, his perseverance and his passion to strive for positive change that drove him to build a company in this challenging sector. Pascal is a big picture thinker with a deep understanding of the drivers of traction and I particularly appreciated - in watching his involvement in his businesses as well as through deep conversations around entrepreneurship - his ability to walk the talk. His marriage of strategy and execution and his passion for wanting to make a difference but also keeping an eye on the sustainability of such means he is an invaluable person to be close to to learn from.
