  The Lycée Français International de Delhi (LFID), established in 1962, is a part of the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE) ,a network of 535 educational institutions in 139 countries. The school currently enrols 250 students from 40+ countries ,speaking more than 25 languages. LFID is an institution with parental management. The governing body is the APE,the Parents' Association, which delegates its day to day management to a Board of Directors. An agreement with the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad ) defines the role of the Board of Directors as well as the mission of the management team made up of the Principal and the Director of primary school.
