As a student in my capstone course for the MS-MIS program at UIC, Parth was a member of a team that won the judging for best project in the program for this semester (Fall, 2015). He and his teammates developed a model for predicting risk for investing in real estate properties or mortgages related to them. This involved integrating data from multiple sources and developing algorithms to assess the risk. The project sponsor was extremely pleased with the team's work as it allowed him to reduce the amount of time it took to assess risk for a property from several hours to less than 5 minutes.
