Dr. Parth Thaker teaches concrete and steel structures at CEPT where we have worked together for more than 10 years. Over the years Parth has grown and strengthened his understanding of concrete behaviour in fresh and hardened state. I have seen him persistently working to develop experimental program in concrete and reinforcing bar research. AT CEPT he has successfully conducted various versions of 'Bridge the gap (BTG)' competition which has generated huge interest among faculty and students of engineering colleges. The BTG requires innovation, meticulous planning and requires reliable testing setup. He has been consultant to various Steel and RCC design projects.
