Since 2011, Kabbage has provided over $4BN in funding to over 140,000 small businesses. I was hired to build out the Customer Marketing team at Kabbage during a high growth phase. During my time at Kabbage, I grew the team from 1 to 10 people, building out capabilities in marketing automation, customer analytics, research and brand/copywriting. I was responsible for building the strategy for how we convert and retain customers, leveraging both Marketing and Sales to drive revenue for the business. In addition, I was selected to manage the Partner Marketing group, which was responsible for 1) partner strategy (lead gen, content and referral) to grow one of the top three acquisition channels for the company and 2) consulting with strategic bank partners to develop marketing strategies to enable success on the Kabbage platform. Key accomplishments: ► Led all marketing efforts to generate revenue from existing customers, including marketing automation, loyalty strategy, promotion development and collaboration with Inside Sales team, resulting in 40% year over year growth from existing customers ► Grew Customer Marketing team from 1 to 8 people, hiring talent that managed marketing automation, customer loyalty and research and insights for the company ► Developed go to market strategies for all new products and features, including the Kabbage Card which gained 20% adoption in first two months of general availability (50% with new customers) ► Managed all marketing automation and lifecycle campaigns, including email, mobile push notifications and sales team integration which directly drove $50-$60MM / month in loan originations ► Served as business sponsor for comprehensive customer segmentation analysis which has guided strategy across marketing, risk and product teams Show less
