- A case study research on satellite imagery on Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia: During the master degree, I was a research assistant at the University of Malaya, school of computer science. The project was based on satellite image segmentation to estimate temporal changes on Terengganu river for purposes related to geology and sedimentology. Results of this research were published as journal papers as the links are available as bellows: - A case study research on satellite imagery on Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia: During the master degree, I was a research assistant at the University of Malaya, school of computer science. Technical Executive
-
Sep 2008 - Jan 2013
I started as a support engineer to restore the switches or call centres when they were affected by an unexpected failure in the system. The system failures could be based on hardware or software, which required knowledge on telecommunication racks and their electronic boards, operator consoles, and their related software. The project was initially included repair and maintenance of the switch and call center, and later on expanded to include the carrier, and fiber optic cables; at which point I was upgraded to technical executive. In addition to that, I volunteered to repair the Ericsson boards of call center, which were almost unable to be repaired inside the country and it was successful. Show less

Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Aug 2006 - May 2008
I was part of the electrical engineer design team, mainly responsible to design new electrical windings for motors and generators entering the factory, and ensured that scheduled deadlines were met within the time set. These electric motors and generators were first tested, then modified or repaired, respectively based on modification request or failures reported by the clients. I mainly designed the low voltage AC motors and had the added responsibility of managing projects for railway contracts. Show less
