As an extension to the anti-poverty placement I completed with the Aspley Partnership organisation in my first semester of my final year, I began a society to relieve the Partnership of some responsibility in regards to the young people attending the Partnership’s centres as well as provide some relief with financial burdens after the pandemic. As a part of the Virtual Nottingham Consultancy Challenge, I worked with a team of students to produce an advisory report and presentation to help a local charity, Cerebral Palsy Sport, to remodel the business’ marketing approach during the pandemic. I developed skills in communication as the team’s Liaison Officer, project management and research, and quickly learned how to conduct myself in an online professional environment.
