  Role as intern involved controlling social media, marketing, event planning and communications liaising with clients in both Italian and English. All whilst moving alone to a new country.During my internship I was involved in the planning of a myriad of events, both online and in person. Some of which Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Italy was in attendance.- Personally responsible for the creation of an Instagram account for The Chamber, and regular posts on all other channels- An office of all Italian natives, speaking and doing business in Italian each day.- Responsible for the organisation of a golf day for the members of The Chamber, a topic I had very little knowledge about before my time in Milan.- Learnt to use other software programs such as CRM, MailChimp, Canva and Wordpress. Forged strong relationships with many of the members after my short time there. Through talking at events or over email and zoom.

  As Social Secretary my role entailed organising weekly social events for 40 people, coming up with new ideas each time so people didn't get bored. This was also during the height of the COVID - 19 pandemic, so I had to adapt to online socials during the first half of my year. This role involved liaising with local pub, club and bar owners in order to request use of their space and any potential discounts for the team.   A week long work experience as part of the Halsbury Work Abroad scheme. Not only did this role require me to complete the usual tasks as a waiter, but also to work in Spanish (not my first language). This role taught me what goes into running a small business and also helped my to improve my Spanish fluency, as I was conversing with guests and staff in Spanish the entire week.
