  My research focuses on the following main areas: (1) Molecular epidemiology and antimicrobial susceptibility of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Clostridium difficile in patients with cystic fibrosis (2) Molecular epidemiology of community acquired Clostridium difficile infection in humans and animals (3) Antimicrobial activity and mechanisms of action of novel compounds for treatment of Clostridium difficile infection I also provide training in research and laboratory skills to PhD and master students
