Since 2016 Nadir focused its activity in the development and application of an innovative and proprietary atmospheric plasma technology and in the development of advanced polymer composites, and since 2020 Nadir has been recognized as a "key innovator" by the European Innovation radar initiative (https://www.innoradar.eu/innovator/972500079 ). The company, after applying for an international patent on the new atmospheric plasma system, has obtained the related grants in countries such as the United States, China, Japan, Australia, Canada and Europe. Nadir Plasma devices are now emerging in various application fields ranging from smart manufacturing, biomedical, aerospace, 3D printing, cultural heritage and academic research, for different purposes such as surface cleaning, sterilization and decontamination, activation, deposition of functional coatings and adhesion improvement between dissimilar materials.
