  Set up Examination rooms in the morning and as a per patient basis, ensuring that all necessary equipment and/or resources are ready to use.  Position and immobilize patient on examination table.  Explain and give instruction to patient with regards to the procedures.  Answers questions of patients about the procedures.  Key commands and data into computer to document and specify scan sequences.  Operate MRI imaging equipment, view images, and produce radiographs.  Evaluate developed radiographs to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.  Observe patients’ through the control window to ensure their safety and comfort during scan.  Monitor video display or area being scanned and adjust density or contrast according to specification of examination to improve picture quality.  Monitor patients’ conditions and reactions, reporting any abnormal signs to physician.  Coordinate work with clerical personnel, other technologist and Doctors.  Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with the government regulations and ensure safety of patients and co-staff.  Performs other duties that may be assigned or required of the job.
