Our objective was to create for Dino Zoli the layout of potential China based clients (designers, showrooms and high range sofa manufacturers) and also to do research about the sales network (wholesalers, distributors, agents) that could be formed in China. We were also assigned to find more information about Dino Zoli's competitors - international and local, and finally about Republic of China's custom duty rules for the fabric market. This would require us to do an indepth analysis about the Chinese market for upholstery fabrics (high level range) in contemporary style and find out what was the potential for such fabrics produced ad exported from Italy. The goal was to provide material for a process of internationalization of the company into the Chinese market. Show less
