Vantaa, Uusimaa, Finland I started out as a Web Shop Assistant, with my job description encompassing assisting the Web Shop Manager with day-to-day running of the B2C ecommerce, product data management tasks, content management tasks and other hands-on back-office tasks, but also giving my input on development of the web store, both in terms of backend as well as frontend and user experience, and integrations to other systems. I also did some testing for new releases and investigated and reported any bugs or other issues. I also did some consumer-facing customer support tasks in the first couple of years before the team grew to include more specialized roles. In 2014 I was promoted to a Development Coordinator with the task of more independently defining development tasks, co-managing the development backlog and releases in Jira with my manager and took more responsibility of testing releases in testing phase and after releases as well as consulting other teams on B2C ecommerce-related issues and projects, and taking a more active role in development projects – also on other systems such as InRiver (PIM), QlikView and QlikSense (BI), Apsis and later Ometria (CRM). I was also responsible for Google Tag Manager administration, Hybris user access rights, all system integrations with Hybris and some administration tasks in the company’s media bank system. In 2019 my title was changed to Online Development Specialist, with increased responsibility and independence, and more focus on management, development and testing of new and existing integrations between different ecommerce-related systems.
