I met Pamela Anderson over 30 years ago when we both began our professional careers in corporate banking. Although, Pamela quickly grasped the financial concepts and the elements of banking, she was always most passionate about social justice issues. She has always been a person at the forefront of change and innovation for the common good. Pamela is well organized and a strategic thinker. She has the ability to quickly access the big picture and is able to strategically connect the dots. She understands how specific programs, initiatives, tactics and approaches fit together, or not, to achieve strategic goals. Her background in finance gives her the financial management and resource allocations lens, but most importantly she is a systems thinker who is able to help other senior staff make decisions that advance priorities. As we have both progressed though our careers I have had the opportunity to take advantage of her wisdom, and I consider her a trusted adviser. We have worked together on non-profits boards and she has been a valuable resource as a volunteer with programs at the Chicago Urban League. She is consistent, , loyal, and committed to making the world a better place. Pamela believes in things so passionately and as such she is able to persuade others to support the worthy causes that she believes in. I believe she is an asset to any organization looking for superior quality leadership.

I had the pleasure to work with Pamela Anderson for more than seven years while at Catholic Relief Services (CRS). In my experience, she was one of the most strategic, innovative and critically thinking staff members at CRS. During my tenure there, Pamela and I served on the Community of Practice team for Diversity, where her clear vision and communication skills were essential to the articulating how to improve the outreach to all parishes around the country as well as advancing better practices in our outreach to a diverse and wider pool of candidates for staff positions. While working together on this Community of Practice, the team relied on Pamela’s expert collaboration to move the team’s agenda forward with the senior staff of the organization. Pamela was a tremendous asset to the mission, strategy, programming and the staff at CRS. Her approach to her responsibilities reveals her integrity and commitment to the highest ideals of any organization or company. I would welcome the opportunity to work with her again because I know that her motivation is mission-driven and always amplifies the gifts and talents of her team and organization.
