My Ph.D. work was based on cancer and radiation biology area. I tried to overcome radioresistance problem in cancer by using high linear energy transfer (LET) radiation in combination with radiomodulator. Use of radiomodulator would help in hypofractionated radiotherapy which may also reduce the cost of very expensive high LET radiation treatment.
