It is my pleasure to write recommendations for Pakle. During our time together in ESFA Pakle displayed great talent in business test analysis skills in large volume of data analysis & soft tools for wider team use. His strong use of technology specific to data analysis always expressed precise end result. Thanks Monesh

Methodology – Risk Based Testing (RBAT)Tools used – SQL Plus, Exceed, Telnet, PVCS, EARS, MS Excel and WordLanguages – Oracle SQL, HP-UNIXWas working as part of a small team, supporting a large National Government System. EARS calls detailing the defect or problem with a function of the system were impacted (i.e. I would provide an estimate of the amount of time/effort required to system test) and they would be scheduled in for us to test at a later date. Prior to the handover of a code fix for a problem/defect, I would read the functional design specification to get an understanding of the function. The EARS calls would be read and I would liaise with the developer to get a better understanding of the problem, as to the cause of it and of the solution to be implemented. This would enable me to determine the test conditions, and to subsequently identify the test cases/scenarios:- that would cause/replicate the problem- surrounding the area of change (i.e. that involve the conditions)- that should not be affected (regression cases)and their expected behaviours/results. A decision graph/chart (or other method) would be generated and a test script written. Functional testing would then begin and any problems or defects identified would be raised and logged in to EARS. Evidence is captured and regression testing is done to ensure that there is no adverse-effect as a result of the change(s). Manual testing is largely done, although some automated testing is done using Compuware QARun where appropriate. Assuming the results meets the exit criteria, the original EARS calls and as well as any subsequent calls raised is updated, and the code would be released to Live by Configuration Management via PVCS (Product Version Control System).
