My role as an HR intern was to help assist with all things related to Benefits/wellness and COVID-19. My job duties included working with data to help draw better conclusions on next steps for our associates at The Scotts Company, reaching out to local health departments when appropriate to report COVID-19 cases, helping update and create new policies for the organization to mirror any changes to the workforce due to COVID-19, contact tracing with employees, implementation of a digital health monitoring tool, helping update the HIPAA policies and procedures documents, supervising and monitoring the set up of projects, along with any other assigned tasks. Overall, I am helped the company navigate within a new era we are all still living in and gained a great deal of skills along the way. Show less

I was selected to be a student Ambassador for the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (HRS) at The Ohio State University during the 2020-2021 academic year. In this role I worked on recruitment campaigns, acted as a point of contact for future/current students about the HIMS program, meet with prospective students & families to answer questions about the university, and helped represent the School of HRS at recruitment events.
