I am happy to recommend Ms. Paige Hinrichs. Paige is one of the hardest working students that I had this past semester. I have enjoyed her in two of my classes so far. In my advertising class, she was especially helpful because she frequently contributed to class discussions. In copywriting, not only was she an accomplished and creative designer, but whenever I asked her to assist a fellow classmate with a graphic design issue, she was always willing. I appreciate her hard work and wish I had more students willing to put forth the time and effort that she does. Her easy-going and sincere personality is also an added plus! Whether it was working on school work, her internship, or her work with the Center for Environmental Communications, she strives to learn all she can while at Loyola.

At The Young Firm, I am the Jack (well, Jill) of all marketing and graphic design trades - on a daily basis I am the Website, Social Media, Client Development and Public Relations Coordinator. My goal is to get the word out about our business through numerous avenues - creating content, ad campaigns, developing relationships and doing whatever it takes to promote and grow the business. I work with monitoring website analytics, researching and managing advertising, designing ads, books, and brochures, etc., drafting and designing reports, newsletters and email broadcasts to keep our clients and audience informed, manage our contact management system, distribute and keep inventory of multiple promotional items, and am constantly tracking important metrics.

At Gambit, I was part of the Production Department team - a handful of talented staff producing a full run print publication every week from start to finish, front to back. Some weeks the paper was "only" 60 pages - quite frequently the paper averaged 80+ papers, with the highest I worked on being 168 pages. Weekly and daily responsibilities included advertising and editorial design - create and update advertisements for various clients in New Orleans for the weekly periodical, as well as layout of editorial text and elements. In addition to designs for the print periodical, I was also responsible for conceptualizing and designing all promotional and design collateral for the company's multiple annual social events. I also was the sole designer for The Foundation for Entertainment Development & Education, working with them to help visually promote and design for 4 annual events (The Tribute to the Classical Arts, Big Easy Theater Awards, Big Easy Music Awards, and Reds, Whites and the Blues). I was also able to dabble into designing and updating various web ads and elements, along with mobile app designing.
