  As an after-school leader, I am accountable for picking up a group of children from school and transporting them safely to the recreational center. Upon arrival, I make sure each child is following the protocol procedures that are in place; washing their hands, getting ready for snack and group activities. Group activities include reading, playing games, and doing crafts. As parents arrive I am responsible for making sure each child goes home safely with their parent. After the children leave I assist with end-of-day cleanup and prepare for the next day's activities.
