I have in depth conversations with my customers to uncover any of their hidden needs, then tailor products & services to meet those needs. I currently deal mainly with business customers who are merchants requiring a facility to receive credit card payments from their clients. Some merchants require an on line payment facility and others require a physical terminal (eftpos machine). I also complete business credit card applications and temporary overdrafts for cash flow solutions & open bank accounts for my customers. Prior to becoming a Business Banker, I have also acquired a solid background in Personal Lending, completing applications and servicing Personal Loans and credit cards as required by my customers. I started my banking career assisting consumer customers with their day to day banking needs including opening and servicing bank accounts. Show less

    • Case Manager
      • Apr 2004 - Dec 2005

As a Case Manager, I was able to utilise my negotiation skills to secure great deals for my clients on payout deals as well as payment plans with their creditors. In trying times, it was sometimes necessary to assist my clients with entering into Part1X debt agreements and early access to superannuation. Some of my clients were in desperate situations, and needed to focus their energies on getting back on track. These are the times I take the stress of organising their debts off them and also assist them with access to resources for training and employment through Centrelink and other Community Groups. I would also alleviate the stress by connecting them with Community Services for food, accommodation & utilities payment assistance if required. I was the editor for the company newsletter which gave our clients a wealth of information on how to save money and tips on handling their finances. Show less
