Any professional within the safety field of our industry is dealt some form of pressure similar to the field I am in, quality. More so when it comes to safety because it could cost someone their life. If the environment is unsafe, control measures not in place or even someone with the wrong attitude; it could lead to an outcome no one wants at the end of the day. I would refer Paddy to any seat within safety, to help ensure the best environment for any of my mates on and off the field. Paddy brings extensive experience to any team and most importantly can utilise that experience to get the desired result. I have a better understanding of safety for having worked alongside with Paddy. Paddy is approachable and relatable which helps start the conversation of how we can do the job smarter, safer and without harm. I would promote Paddy because he promotes safety!

In his time at FKG, Paddy has successfully lead a team of around 6-8 safety advisors in the engineering division, reporting to the Group Manager. During his time, Paddy has been a key member of the management team and has lead various business improvements. He has achieved success on projects by setting high safety standards, being a visible leader and mentoring teams. I wish Paddy every success on whatever he chooses to do next. He will be an asset as a Safety Manager or Safety professional.
