  I have been contributing towards developing enzymes to be used in the synthesis of APIs and also in developing small molecules thereby aiding in the implementation of green chemistry. My role involves: Developing methodologies for heterologous gene expression in bacterial, yeast and fungal systems. Function as an interface between molecular biology and fermentation teams. Optimize methods for analytical monitoring and quality control for bio process. Optimize lab scale production of enzymes. Guiding team members in executing the before mentioned activities. Plan and manage inventory for all the applications. Ensure safe environment in the lab and of the lab members, coordinate with safety dept and monitor.
