There is a before and after when it comes to having Pablo Curell on your team. The man oozes passion. It is hard to overstate his commitment to good practice. He is single-handedly responsible for me rethinking many of my old practices to up my game in pursuit of his. What cements the 3-pointer is his ability to never lose track of business needs and priorities despite this. Pablo indulges in reflected processes, but never for their own sake - he masters the trade-off between perfection and immediate requirement and makes clear which is the main motivator in an implementation, and why. I'm not surprised he became a CTO at lightning speed at a time in his career. Add to that his dedication to the development craft and his urge to share and grow the love for it in others, and you have an asset whose presence is felt from strategic-top to juniors-in-learning-bottom. Code, architecture, a pat on the shoulder or a stern spine when required - we have felt it all, and it is a privilege to be a part of the same team.

Working with Pablo is a blast ! His passion for software engineering (and everything tech) is both contagious and stimulating. He's a skilled & talented dev, always seeking to learn more and share knowledge, with at the same time a no-nonsense pragmatic approach and an acute business mindset that guarantees his work is effective and brings real added-value to the table. He's someone who will make you grow. On top of that, he's an extremely fun person to work with. Lucky and grateful to have you by my side !
