I am a Post-Doctoral research associate in the Novel Reservoir and Simulation group (NORMS). I am the lead developer of the Imperial College Finite Element Reservoir simulator (IC-FERST), which is the next-generation reservoir simulator developed by this group.IC-FERST is a multiphase flow porous media simulator based on the latest state-of-the-art technologies available in CFD, such as unstructured dynamic mesh optimization, high order time and space discretization, discontinuous pressure representation and non-linear solvers that can deal with high Courant numbers simulations. The program has an LGPL license and can be downloaded from: https://github.com/FluidityProject/multifluids Show less

I am the lead developer of the Imperial College Finite Element Reservoir simulator (IC-FERST), which introduced unstructured dynamic mesh optimisation into reservoir simulation with coupled physics and chemistry for the first time. I have developed and applied methods for multiphase flow in heterogeneous porous media, heat and contaminant and reactive transport, and well optimisation. I currently supervise 6 PhD projects across a broad range of reservoir simulation topics and inertial flow and I am currently part of the national core studies program to tackle the COVID pandemic which reports to SAGE.
