      Our product, "POC Paga", was an innovative payment system for upper managements to control the money their executives were using in work dinners and other events. The software used facial recognition to identify the users and authorize payments. My initial role on the company was as a software developer for a Django-based client management solution, meanwhile, the front end of the service was developed in Adobe Flex. One milestone of my work in this position was the development of an invoicing and financial report system. As the software prototype grew, I was put in charge of optimizing the software stack, so I implemented a message queue for our services, using RabbitMQ and Redis, to handle parallel tasks like the creation of biometric profiles. Other contributions for this company were the implementation of a GIT-based version control workflow, the documentation of the system architecture and software stack, deploying a test server and testing environments, and the deployment of virtual development environments for the team.
