-Rendered as an Estimation Engineer spearheaded for Estimating and Construction management in Pre & Post contract stages of 4 Highrise Building projects where the contract value of the 4 projects’ costs US $65Mn -------Pre Contract Stage • Preparation of Preliminary estimation, Budget estimation, Detailed estimation (With Rate Analyses) Insurance claims and administration. • Interpretation and following Company tendering processes and procedures to ensure all aspects of tenders are met including relevant discipline codes and standards. • Attending pre-bid meetings & Sending queries and obtaining prices, analyze prices, prepare material and labor cost estimation and bid prices. • Take-off all quantities from the received drawings and specifications including the items not mentioned in BOQ nor drawings. • Check and verify BOQ items with regards to quantity and specifications required and report to Sr. Estimator/Estimation Manager accordingly. • Utilized training in the prescribed estimating software and estimating tools necessary to perform quantity takeoffs, estimate calculations, bid item detail development and resource reports. ---------Post Contract Stage • Verify and certify Sub contractors’ interim applications for payments and issue payment certificates weekly or monthly. • Preparing contractors’ Extension of Time claims in coordinate with the planning engineer and as directed by the Project Manager. • Preparing and compiling variation order documents with all relevant substantiation to the satisfaction of the Engineer/Employer. • Hands-on experience in quantification and costing (estimation), tendering and effective subcontract & supplier procurement procedure and Contract Administration related criterions. • Advice on contractual matters related to financial issues & Ensure completeness and validity of all contractual requirements.
