I had the opportunity to work with Oz on a massive, multinational project. He drove Design in the UK, I shaped UX in the US, and we worked on transforming business ideas from New York to developers in Argentina. He also ran the additional design resources that we had Argentina. This effort required not only Design talents, but extraordinary skills in presentation, persuasion, negotiation, with a healthy mix of professionalism, and Oz excelled at all of this. Distances were nothing, time zones minor annoyances; when you have a proficient expert like Oz to collaborate with and run Design, success rates are high while overall issues are next to nil. He’s an outstanding Designer, communicator, and team leader, and I miss being able to work with him.
