  The Manufacturers Council pursues several strategic initiatives to directly promote its member’s capability to major contractors across the Oil& Gas, Mining and Defence sectors. From a policy perspective, we have directly lobbied government on the need to reduce (and hopefully phase out) payroll tax and to create a more transparent & enforceable procurement system (that genuinely recognises the economic benefits of local industry development). In doing so, we have sought to generate networking events that are of real value to Members. The NT Manufacturers Council continues to meet strategic goals in the planning and completing of key activities and initiatives for members. Show less
