My love of cars started with Matchbox and Hotwheels as was quite common for children prior to video games. A great deal of my childhood involved spending time on the various family farms which is where I learnt to drive as a matter of necessity at age ten and is also where I learnt to swear at machines whilst trying to repair them without a manual or the right tools. As my father was a teacher for the most part during my childhood and never liked his boss wherever he was, we moved quite a lot and I managed to go to nine primary and seven secondary schools giving me plenty of chances to learn how to build relationships and make new friends. Thanks also must go to my mother for unknowingly developing my ingenuity by always equipping me with a selection of healthy organic dishes for my lunch (long before it was considered trendy) and never allowing me to have tuck-shop money, this inspired me to create ways to make my own tuck-shop money through enterprise with my new found friends. My first and perhaps most important Mentor would have to have been my Grandfather (Poppy) whom himself started droving across Australia from West to East at age ten and worked from dawn to dusk every single day of his life from that point until a year or so before he died. He was without a doubt the hardest man I’ve ever known and gives me strength whenever I need it most. After a little over ten years with my previous employer I've taken some time away from the auto industry to spend more quality time with my family at our families Organic farm in the Northern Territory. Whilst it has been great having half a year away with my family focusing entirely on life balance it is now time for me to look at the opportunities available around Australia and enter the next stage of my professional career.
